Posted Again? A Financial Drill for Every Move

· Air Warrior Money

Frequent postings are hard on paperwork and habits. This simple drill keeps your finances mission-ready through every move.

A posting order changes your station, your quarters and your routine, but it should never derail your finances. The families who sail through moves treat money like any other drill: a short checklist, executed the same way every time.

Before you move

Update your address with your bank and, where relevant, your KYC records. Confirm your SIP debits are on auto-mandate rather than manual payment, so nothing lapses while you are in transit. Photograph or scan key documents: policies, nominations, account statements. Cloud storage beats a trunk that arrives three weeks late.

What should never depend on your station

Your SIPs, your term cover and your emergency fund must run on autopilot regardless of pin code. This is exactly why we set clients up digitally: portfolio access through the app, transactions online, reviews over a call. A move to a field area or a remote station changes nothing about the plan.

One more habit worth building: after every posting, do a thirty-minute review with us. Pay changes with allowances, expenses change with the station, and the SIP amount should quietly keep pace.

A short conversation with a veteran-led team costs nothing and usually clarifies a lot.
